Just in case some of you don't know already yes we are expecting a little one. We did pretty good keeping it under wraps for 11 weeks, but it just got too hard and we got too excited. It was a total surprise for us and not planned at all, as we were planning to take ourselves south for a couple of years. At first we were pretty freaked out about the whole thing and didn't really talk about it for 3 weeks. The realization is settling in and we are now very excited. We have postponed our trip to California for the time being but do plan to still make the trip after the baby(probably 1 year). But for now we are learning as we go and are looking forward to having a child while we are young and energetic. We always read your comments and definitely wouldn't mind some advice from some of the parents. Now the news is officially out and we will update as we go along this journey into the unknown.

Baby on board!!!!!!!!!

PS. Since I'm not a parent I can't give any advice, but I know you guys will be great parents and your kids will have lots of fun with you.
Brian, it doesn't matter what age parenthood comes along, everyone is a little apprehensive about their abilities to do the job right. You and Elizabeth love each other, have lots of fun and energy going on and I just can't help but think what a lucky little munchkin your baby will be to have you for parents. Best wishes my dears for a healthy pregnancy, look forward to all the up-dates along the way!
Here's my advice based on my extensive experience in parenting: Give away your Xbox360 and other cherished electronics to your best friend Ryan as you will no longer need them. The only toy you can have now is a Diaper Genie!!

Run, don't walk, to the closest Chapters and pick up a copy of "What to Expect When Your Wife's Expanding". Cam found this to be truly the most informative book on pregnancy with loads of great advice on how to cope ... err ... enjoy this traumatizing ... err, I mean... wonderful event. ;)
